About

The Nova Scotia Art & Craft Sale features the curated work of Nova Scotian artisans.  The 11th annual show will be on held on November 4 & 5, 2022 and will be held at the Cedar Event Center 111 Clayton Park Drive, Halifax, NS.

Started in 2012 by Ann Dease and Lawrence Spencer, the show has supported local handcraft artists and the wider community with proceeds going to the Lions Christmas Express and Lions Club. For the past 10 years this curated event hosted 40 artists and crafts people at the Waverley Legion. Vendors are restricted to only hand made items, no MLM or Direct Sales items are permitted.

In 2019 Ann and Lawrence took a step back for a much deserved break. The Nova Scotia Art & Craft Sale was carried on by a small but enthusiastic group of volunteers from the local community led by Miranda Jordan, an experienced craft show producer.

The show was so overwhelmingly successful in 2021 it was time to acknowledge we had outgrown our previous location.  We are pleased to announce that we have secured a brand new, larger event venue where we will now be hosting about 60 local makers in a beautiful purpose built venue.  The 11th annual show is a new chapter in our evolution. Rest assured all the quality and variety you are accustomed to will remain – but now we have larger spaces for our makers to adequately display their goods and larger aisles for your shopping comfort.
